Big.LivenUp is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
Data we collect
•Name and surname (provided when creating a listing)
•Email address (for registration and communication)
•Phone number (so buyers can contact you)
•Property information (address, price, photos)
•Technical data (IP address, browser data, cookies)
Legal basis
•Consent — you agree to data processing when posting a listing
•Contract performance — communication between buyers and sellers
•Legitimate interest — platform security and fraud prevention
Data retention
•Listings are kept until their validity expires or are deleted
•Messages and conversations are kept for 12 months after last activity
•Technical data is kept for 6 months
•After the retention period, data is automatically deleted
Data security
We use Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure each user can only access their own data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to data is strictly limited and audited.
Third parties
•Payment provider (Stripe) — for payment processing
•Instagram — if you choose to publish your listing on Instagram
•Map service (OpenStreetMap) — for displaying property locations
•We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
